Hi ,

My customer wants me to look for an API that can return the goecodes (longitude and latitude) if we pass it an exact street address. He wants this to be an automatic process so I am looking for an API that can return the goecodes if we pass it the address

If there is another possible way to do this, I will be glad to listen to it and try it out

Regards

Syed

Yes, there is (except for regions where we have not yet enough address data). Please see the other questions about this topic. The answers to these questions will help you (I see nothing special in your question):

As always: please obey the usage restrictions/policies of the (free) services (and consider a donation to OSM if we / our data can help your business).

meta: I will not close this question as duplicate (although it is) because some weeks ago this was (at least initially, on first glance) regarded as "locking out competition" (IIRC).

This is silly, if someone wants to re-open a closed question they always can (requires a certain minimum karma but not much.) Closing duplicate questions makes sense.

...meta (cont.): the "wiki" option came to my mind. Maybe that does not lock out competition that much. Okay... closing.
