I have recently retagged a couple of questions. I have used the "edit" function for this and hence it shows "edited by ALE!" next to the original author of the question. But I saw that some users managed to retag a question without editing because there it says "retagged by XYZ". So how do you retag without editing? |

Click the "retag" link below the question. This link is only available if you were not the one to ask the question, otherwise, you will need to use the "edit" link. I have always the "edit" (never the "retag") link below the question, be it mine or somebody else's.

I don't have the "retag" link and I've never seen it, tried to edit and just change the tags to see if it would recognize that.

If the cutoff for being able to edit any question is 400 karma, then I'm almost there, but not there yet...

Aparently, you need 400 karma points to edit any answer and 150 karma points to retag questions. That's probably why Paul get's the "retag" link and why we get the "edit" link and no "retag" link. So I suppose this is the answer to my question ;-) . Where did you find the karma limits?
