google translation of question..The resolution of the satellite image is so poor that it can not be used to add a minor road.

What can you do?

With Google earth, it would be no problem.

When a question is posted is a language other than English ( if that is the common language of the forum ) should it have a translation? if the idea is for us all the share information I think we need a translation. But. should I have used Google Translate here??

Yes, I would appreciate a translation to the common language as you have done. It is better that you do it once for everyone requiring it, instead of each of us doing it individually. I would assume that most users, including me, would only be familiar with the Google Translate method. It is quick and efficient with mostly acceptable results.

If the Bing imagery isn't good enough where you live (and even if it is) you'll be able to contribute much more by collecting GPS data and using that. See the beginner's guide (Nybörjarguide), especially the GPS-data section.

There don't seem to be many Swedish users of this help site, but the Swedish users' forum does seem quite popular.

Hendrikklaas, I think it may be better if we wait for someone who speaks Swedish, or do you? I think you have misunderstood the question.

Using google's satellite imagery is not allowed. We are not allowed (simplified) to use anything, except if it is allowed. We can use the satellite/aerial imagery which is displayed by default in our editors (iD, Potlatch, JOSM, ...).

sorry, just good intentions.
