My street (Quiet Forest Dr in Imperial Missouri) is mirror-imaged and in the wrong place. Is this fixable without becoming a member?

I had a look at this road in OSM and using Bing imagery it appears to follow the path of a road.

There is another road to the north-east that is near a mirror image of it but it has not been mapped in OSM.

I think it would be best for a person with local knowledge to map this area correctly.

@nevw: Please could we just not use these "other maps" (for extracting information like you did)? To be safe I have removed that information from your comment to prevent "infecting" potential editors' (at that street) knowledge with these information. However, thanks for looking at the issue!

Thanks to MikeN for resolving this. It now is correct and looks great!

"Becoming a member" is really just signing up to OSM under any user name you like and replying to an automated email - in under five minutes you're ready to make changes to the map yourself. (Don't confuse this with becoming a member of one of the incorporated bodies of OSM, like the OSM Foundation or OpenStreetMap US - neither is a prerequisite for editing the map.)

If however you'd rather not venture that far, then use the little "speech bubble" icon on the right to mark the place where your street is and add a textual description much like you did above - this can be done without signing in (more info about map bug reporting). It won't magically fix the problem, but it will light up on the screen of avid OSM contributors who will then, hopefully, fix it soon.

Thanks, Frederik, I've added that now.
