Recently the box for adding info regarding an edit has often been filled blue, (dont know the correct term for this, the same as sometimes highlights text on the computer)

Even when I manage to clear this, the wording in the changesets, as added edits from previously,eg, river added to map then( bridge added) hope I have made this easy to understand, help!

Which editor do you use (click the downward arrow beneath "edit" to see the editor names)? Likely you use iD. Easy workaround if you do not want to continue to add wrong comments (which is not nice) until this is fixed: use another editor.

(based on a previous conversation with the person asking the question I think it is iD).

@Burton wanderer - would it be possible to post a screenshot somewhere - either here if it'll let you or on an image sharer such as http://imgur.com/ or elsewhere?

I have been using iD, but reverted to Potlatch2 this evening and thats ok, will use this for a while, not very technical re posting screenshots! anyway thanks for the info all.

@Burton wanderer http://imgur.com/ is one of the best website to post/upload images and better than http://tinypic.com/

@zontafer: I have removed those (/revisions/47665/) fishy offtopic links, please do not insert again.
