Hi all, Just wondered how I go about tagging and building a branched road, for instance in a housing estate where the road branches in 2 directions but is still called the same name. Do I just join the two branches together and call them the same?

Yes.

For a Y-shaped road, draw two or more ways, and tag them each as appropriate.

Yes that's right. Sometimes you need to make more than one way with the same name.
