I am also trying to export to an XML file. I am using a very small map. I just get EXPORT and it automatically exports to an .osm file. I do not see the option for XML. asked 29 Oct '13, 16:00 llcotton44 edited 29 Oct '13, 20:17 aseerel4c26 ♦ |

.osm is the file extension you get by default for XML files from the OSM website's "export" function: answered 29 Oct '13, 16:46 SomeoneElse ♦ edited 29 Oct '13, 19:53 aseerel4c26 ♦ |
I made this so hard. Include the osm file in Argis and all the info is there. thank you answered 29 Oct '13, 19:04 llcotton44 |
I was able to open the file, thank you. I was expecting street names to be included in the spreadsheet. Do I have do something else to get street names?
This is not a spreadsheet, it is raw OSM data. See OSM XML for an explanation. It contains everything also contained in the database, including street names.
I am including the row from the download version generator copyright attribution license minlat minlon maxlat maxlon id visible version2 changeset timestamp user uid lat lon k v id3 visible4 version5 changeset6 timestamp7 user8 uid9 ref k10 v11 id12 visible13 version14 changeset15 timestamp16 user17 uid18 type ref19 role k20 v21
what am I doing wrong to not get street names?
