Help! How do I use OSM?

I'm new. How do you make a map and insert it into craigslist?

What is special with craigslist? Is that differently from using a map on an own homepage? What do you mean by "make a map"? Do you want any special style? What do you want to show on this map? Please comment to clarify.

If you want to get familiar wit OSM and its features, start reading at the collected information in the OSM wiki ... it may take some time to get the basics, but you will learn fast.

If there are more specialized questions, ask here again, or do a spcialized search here, in the wiki, the OSM forum or one of the related mailing lists
