I added two chairlifts using the ideditor function in openstreetmap online. First, I did not see a chairlift path in the list so I just added it as a path. When I zoom to the area in openstreetmap, there is no path there but the name is there. Did I do something wrong. I am a new user. Why is there no chairlift spec and why is it not showing up on the map?

Would it be possible to say where the chairlift that you've added is?

If you view it on the map and then look at the address bar you should see something like http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/51.51899/-0.17436&layers=N (only with different numbers of course) - that helps people to see where it is so that they can look at what the problem might be.

The chairlift I added is at http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=15/46.5189/-67.8178 I will try to add the correct tag that Hedrikklaas suggested.
