Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

I plan to show a special kind of shops in my city at the map. Is there any possibility to create/design a new sign. For example a green shop sign for all secondhand shops ore something like this.

you can also try to enter "own icons" in the text search field of this FAQ site ... I think there are already similar questions, and maybe even solutions.

Yes and no.

If you mean "the" map displayed at the main openstreetmap.org site, there is the possibility of designing a new shop icon and then filing an issue with the openstreetmap-mapnik stylesheet (via https://github.com/openstreetmap/mapnik-stylesheets/issues ).

Also, you could build a website yourself where you display an OSM view with OpenLayers and overlay that with your shop icons.
