Hi All,

I have been doing a lot of mapping in Astoria, Long Island City, and Greenpoint in New York City. I've noticed that Greenpoint has a large area denoting "Extent of Water level during Sandy". I've read a lot of information that states that historical information (what was here before) should not be in OSM. Following that, should the area be removed?

Probably yes, it is impossible to keep data about every single major flood. See also https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/650/does-osm-use-any-historic-data-or-want-to
