[closed] How do I export data?

I have selected an area I wish to export and clicked on the "export" button. I then get a totally blank screen with NOTHING happening. the URL is "api" something or other. Now what?????

Quite a few questions get asked about this; perhaps one of the previous answers may help?

They keep saying to use Maperitive. But it doesn't work for Mac users. This is fucking confusing!
