Is it possible to search for overlapping areas/polygons/closed ways in JOSM?

I just found that searching for way closed finds all the areas/polygons that are closed ways (e.g. buildings, landuse areas, roundabouts that are made of one way, etc.). But how to find only the ones, that overlap each other?

I want to use this, for searching overlapping landuse polygons.

JOSM had a documentation for it’s search function: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/JOSM/Search_function That was only two or three weeks ago. Now it is gone. :-(

JOSM/Search_function is still there.

??? What? When I was trying it an hour ago, it did not work. Strange. The wiki seems broken some times. The wiki documentation does not mention how to search for overlapping polygons.

I'm not sure but JOSM validator should detect polygons overlaps, especially for buildings. Maybe try to run the validator ?
