Hello, I'm searching a way to download an certain area as an vector file, pdf for example - but under export data > selecting manually an area, I can't choose which format, there's just the button "export", and an xml file is downloading. I want to print it out, and would need a file I can work with in Illustrator or Photoshop. The wiki help and answers here are telling, that I can choose a format - but where? what's wrong? I tried with Firefox and Safari... Thanks for helping!!

A recent UI change has moved the export of data from the export tab to an export link on the left, and the export of images (including PDF) to the "share" tab on the right. - You will however find that PDFs generated from the web interface are not editable very well, and you will be better off generating your own PDF with Maperitive. See e.g. the answers to Using map in Adobe Illustrator?

Thanks for your help! The easy "share"-tab worked!

You are right, the svg created through the "share" tab doesn't work with Illustrator. I downloaded and opened Maperative - but for using this I need a further education... if anyone knows some tutorials for this - they are very welcome!
