It seems that you can download the maps (which are created by NavFree but based on OpenStreetMap data) somehow inside the app. However our OSM wiki article about Navfree says: "Maps can be purchased (U.S. and UK are free of charge) from Navmii and stored locally on the device." You cannot use OSM data directly in Navfree.
