Dear Sirs, We are writing to you considering the following matter. Our service gdeposylka.ru with the IP address 176.9.172.190 allows to track the tracking numbers of the packages. It also allows to see the location of the package through nominatim.openstreetmap.org. However, today we found out that we could not connect to the service you provide. We suggest we may have connected too many times so our IP could have been blocked? Could you please tell us how to solve this problem? And also what restrictions you have considering this matter? Thanks in advance

The Nominatim usage policy is defined in the wiki. Particularly there is a limit of 1 request/s. This applies only to the Nominatim instance provided by OpenStreetMap. The instance provided by MapQuest has less strict conditions. And of course you can always deploy your own Nominatim instance.

Thank you. But how to unlock our server IP 176.9.172.190? We promise to abide by the rules.

You have broken the usage policy, so you have effectively forfeited any access to the OSMF-run service. You can still use the alternative service listed above, our set up your own Nominatim server, which is the best long-term solution.

I think you could write an email to support@x. x=openstreetmap.org. However, as written in the usage policy, I think using openstreetmap.org's nominatim service for your application does not sound like what osm.org is for (please remember - the servers are donated ressources). You are welcome to use our OpenStreetMap data (and free software) to set up an own server. Data and service are two separate issues.
