Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Hi guys,

I have read the legal guidance but just wanted absolute clarity. Does the open license include being able to show the map, either in digital form on a computer screen, or printed as part of a map, to be used in a commercial feature film to be shown in cinemas, on tv and on dvd?

Thanks! H.

Yes, the licence allows that. Please provide an attribution in the end credits of the film of the form "Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors / www.OpenStreetMap.org".
