Hey all, I don't see any documentation for how to mark metered parking. The Tag:amenity=parking page has the tag <parking meter=""> but I don't see any information about them. Thanks

How about fee=yes and if appropiate opening_hours http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:opening_hours

Whether a parking area is metered or not is not important: The fee is!

Thanks, I didn't explain this. The lot normally has a fee (it is a school so the fee is per semester) so the rest of the lot already has fee=yes.

OpenParking Map (http://parking.openstreetmap.de/) shows lots of different parking conditions: my impression is that many are not completely documented on the wiki. You may be able to find a suitable tagging scheme by inspecting objects shown there.

There is a parking:lane tag which supports more conditions than the regular parking tag.

I usually use fee=<opening_hours> to determine when you have to pay.
