You mention "the sat nav part of OSM on my phone" - is that a particular application or website, and if so which one?

OSM's really just a (large) lump of data. It's used by lots of different applications and lots of different maps.

As SomeoneElse already noted OSM is not what you seem to think it is ("sat nav part of OSM on my phone"). There are loads of OSM-based services but OSM itself is just a large database of geodata.

If I understand your question correctly you are searching for a voice guidance which accepts a gpx file (containing tracks or routes) as input? Search those lists of software for mobile devices for your requirements (currently you did not even mention which operating system you use). You may also find some similar questions on this help site by searching.

Okay, I guess you mean OsmAnd+. It takes a bit time to find out how this app works (at least it took me some time) and how all the plugins work, but as far as I know that is a possible (and popular) choice.
