I know it's a bit odd to ask on OSM about a third-party application, but since its author didn't reply and MapsWithMe is based on OSM, it's not that far-fetched.

The Pro version is supposed to support bookmarks, which I need so I can build a list of applications on my PC and download it through MapsWithMe and have the locations + maps available for offline use.

Before buying the Pro version, I'd like to make sure it actually does what I think it does: Entering ten's of locations on a smartphone is too much work, so it must be possible to download the list from a PC and display pins on the screen that I can simply click to know what they refer to.

Thank you.

Did you try to contact the MapsWithMe team at their email address, and how long ago was that? I can't really believe they won't answer your question.

Your logic that "questions about anything based on OSM can be asked here" does not scale well. This is a help forum for OSM, not third-party OSM based products.

Yes, and they're stuck as to why I can't open a KML file. I'll keep investigating in Android forums instead. Thank you.
