I know it's a bit odd to ask on OSM about a third-party application, but since its author didn't reply and MapsWithMe is based on OSM, it's not that far-fetched. The Pro version is supposed to support bookmarks, which I need so I can build a list of applications on my PC and download it through MapsWithMe and have the locations + maps available for offline use. Before buying the Pro version, I'd like to make sure it actually does what I think it does: Entering ten's of locations on a smartphone is too much work, so it must be possible to download the list from a PC and display pins on the screen that I can simply click to know what they refer to. Did you try to contact the MapsWithMe team at their email address, and how long ago was that? I can't really believe they won't answer your question. Your logic that "questions about anything based on OSM can be asked here" does not scale well. Yes, and they're stuck as to why I can't open a KML file. I'll keep investigating in Android forums instead. Thank you.
