Hi, I see you're using JOSM so hold down the "Ctrl" key and clickon/highlight all the ways you want to change. When all are selected/highlighted "Edit" the highway tag to your requirement.

By the way it would help the project (and anyone trying to help you), if you could find time to put a brief comment on your changsets.
