hi: yesterday we edited for the first time (adding street numbers to the eastern end of Lornsenstrasse, Kiel, Germany) and now only two houses show up with street numbers and the rest have disappeared. Is this a matter of changes taking time to show up or have we done something wrong? thanks, Gerald

PS let me add that we used merkartor and when I redownload the area with this program our changes do show up correctly, just on osm.org they only show up partially plus most houses are gone.

Buildings with the tag area=no aren't rendered.

by the way: you can edit the question you asked, paste there the first replay you added and delete the latter. Looks better this way. :)

Gebäude mit dem Tag area=no werden nicht gerendert.

Übrigens kannst du deine Frage oben editieren, die erste "Antwort" dort einfügen und diese dann löschen. Sieht sauberer aus. :)

meta: @malenki: German answers will not be useful to many people arriving here after seeing the English question. I think it is better to always(!) use the language of the question. :-)

Darn, sorry. I just had stood up; obviously my mind wasn't fully working.
