Hi, I want to download and install OSM-in-a-box. But the download link is not working. Please help. Where can I download this from? I tried this link http://geometa.hsr.ch/hudson/job/OSM-in-a-box_1.0/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/Code/osm2gis/release/osminabox1.0_unix.zip

The wiki page for OSM-in-a-box, http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OpenStreetMap-in-a-Box , states the project is out of date with current OSM infrastructure. Depending on what you want to do, http://switch2osm.org/ could be helpful to you.

The project OSM-in-a-box was a time limited student project which now is unmaintained. Having said this we're still open for funding and support. End of march 2013 there was a small update so I updated the wiki page too: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OpenStreetMap-in-a-Box .

So what's with the out-of-dateness? Can you work with current OSM datasets and infrastructure?

Yes, that's why there's a new version in the GIT repository.

You should then edit the wiki pages in all languages to reflect that.
