Hi I have been an enthusiastic user of OSM for several years: yesterday finally (now I've some time to spend on it) I did register on the site and I started to enhance the map of the neighborhood where I live (Bagnoli, Naples, Italy), which contained many errors and was incomplete. I've read carefully instructions and I used Potlach2 (Opera browser) to modify the map. Everything gone fine, but at the moment I see only some of the changes I've made, whether on the map visible on the web and in other ways. I can see every changes I've made only with Locus Android App, on my smartphone, loading "OSM German Style". Why? Thanks for attention |

Not everything shows up immediately; have a look at this previous question for one possible explanation. If you search the help site for "visible" you'll see some other questions and answers that may help. You can see your edits here. If I click through to one item in there I can see it on the main OSM map. |
Please note that the map on the web does not display all feature that you can map (you do not mention which features you mapped). Furthermore not all changes are displayed immediately. It might even depend on the zoom level.
