Greetings to all,

(Boundary of India, mainly at Jammu i.e. Pakistan-India boundary is not so exact to belief.)

(Please map the correct boundary for the both nations).

(I would like to now on which basis the layer is prepared? (and Suggest me how to edit this boudnary..?)

Before you consider altering the border of India and Pakistan I would suggest that you read ALL of the following:

Such issues over disputed territories are inevitable in a worldwide set of map data. OpenStreetMap has always had a policy of mapping what is on the ground, and this policy has served us well in areas where territory is disputed.

In the case of India/Pakistan this means trying to accurately map the Line of Control: which reflects the reality of which country administers any part of the territory. Only edits which improve the accuracy of the LoC belong in OpenStreetMap. Territorial claims not matched by on-the-ground validation criteria are not something we map. Attempts to change borders to reflect such claims will be treated as vandalism.
