Rental URLs

I own a house that is rented, AirBnB-style, and thus has a web site. Thanks to local county GIS it already has an "other" point, so I've added the relevant URL.

This seems fair, but I haven't found clear guidance for this situation. Does anyone think this is inappropriate?

Could you please tell us the location?

As Roland said, a link to the area in question would enable us to check wether the tags are apropriate. But I'll try a few guidelines here :

  • If there is a website talking about a house, wether it is about renting, history/culture or similar, it is appropriate to add a website tag on the building.
  • IMHO the website would need to be a permanent one : a link to a Craigslist or estateagent page seem inapropriate to me for example.
  • Any kind of subjective rating is not osm-apropriate : an official Michelin star rating might be ok, but a Tripadvisor or Yelp rating isn't.
  • There are other things you could tag: wheelchair access, internet, pets, smoking might all be relevant to a potential renter, and good for osm (just remember to edit osm again when those policies no longer apply).
