A bit more info about this question - it's asking about OsmAnd on a Blackberry Z10, which doesn't run Android applications natively but via an "Android runtime" (hence the odd sdcard path in the question). If you want to go from the Google Code download to it running on a Z10 one more step's needed - you'll need to convert it from an Android .apk to a Blackberry .bar, which will require Blackberry signing keys and the Blackberry command line tools (including "apk2bar") for the conversion. See here for those.

In osmand, "settings", "general", "storage directory" does allow the download folder to be changed, but the default is "/sdcard" which is I suspect being mapped to "misc/android/osmand" on the Z10.

One question - if you look under "application permissions" on your Z10 do you see OsmAnd+ listed? This BB thread suggests that it might not work with any permissions listed:

In osmand, change "settings, general, storage directory" from "/sdcard" to "/sdcard2".

Exit osmand and run it again. (you'll possibly see no maps at this point)

In the Blackberry file manager, check that "media card / osmand" exists.

In the Blackberry file manager, navigate to "device / misc / android / osmand" .

For each .obf file in there (including the world basemap) move to the sdcard (hold down the file, select "move", navigate to the target folder on the sdcard ("media card / osmand"), and then select "paste")

Exit osmand and run it again.

You should now see your maps.

Hallo and thanks for the answer. The problem is that there is no entry in "Settings/General" named "storage Directory". It probably exists in the Android version but not in Version for Blackberry.

This is why it only stores the maps on the device. I have tried and moved all the maps to sdcard/osmand but the App could not find them. It is ridiculous that it isn't possible to choose the directory for the maps!

That option does exist on my (built from Android source and ported to Blackberry with apk2bar) version. Maybe I'm running a later version? I fetched from git on around 9th May.

I downloaded Osmand* with my Blackberry on Saturday last week.
