If the Bing images are not sufficient in a certain area for tracing, which are other imagery sources? asked 15 May '13, 21:20 AddisMap_Ale... |
A couple years ago, a group of people from HOT/OSM set out to buy commercial imagery for the Gaza strip. Their efforts, and various imagery providers with their pricing at the time, are documented here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_Gaza#Commercial_aerial_photography - maybe there's something there that gives you an idea. But remember the document is several years old. answered 15 May '13, 23:18 Frederik Ramm ♦ AddisMap_Ale... |
Besides the global providers of aerial imagery there are many many players at national and local level, including various ways of DIY. To help further we would really need to know which area you are interested in. answered 15 May '13, 21:40 SimonPoole ♦ 2
In that case I would suggest discussing with HOT, they may have imagery available already or may be able to organize some (via the UN or other international organisations).
