Download the data of india and filter with osmfilter for address.

... and get familiar with the data structure of the OSM dataset before. start reading at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org

You should know the main elements called nodes, ways and relations ... and how each element is tagged with its features.

There is also information in the wiki how address data is stored.

Note that OSM probably does not have a complete (as in "every address in India is mapped") lat/lon address dataset for India.

@ gormo: since he asked here I thought he wanted the OSM data. Since the linkeddata of India is only ~100MB there will be much room fpr improvement. :)
