My other question answered what-the-hell (see question for pictures) they were. So now the question that remains is, how do I tag a rather decently sized, pole mounted bug zapper located in a park?

I was thinking man_made=bug_zapper.

Okay, tagged it as man_made=bug_zapper. It also happens to be the first bug zapper on OSM. Hoo-rah. :)

Wikipedia calls it a bug zapper, so sure, why not? :) I wonder if leisure might be a better key than man_made, though?

leisure, really? Looks like leisure is somewhere where people go. I don't think the bug zapper is an attraction ;).

So it's a big bug zapper, outdoor, on a lake shore?

man_made:ruins, and call Greenpeace.

He he. They are local council/government owned zappers. Mosquitoes are a big problem at this lake. In previous years we've had a helicopter spray the lake with a pesticide.

Sigh, I guess this is what happens when the fish die.
