Can I download and use those cards in my tomtom ONE IQ Routes Edition / 140 My current original tomtom card data are more than 2 years old. I am looking for a free update, but my TomTom does not have an SD card only USB connection. Thx

If you're looking for a hassle-free "simply click here to download" solution, then you will have to buy an update from TomTom. OpenStreetMap based solutions are hacky at best, and unless you're a technical person you risk putting your TomTom into a state from which there is no return (at least, not for you).

If you're willing to experiment, check our Wiki Page on TomTom. You will most likely want to look into installing Navit.
