How do you tag a wholesale supermarket or any other wholesale shop which is only open to or only sells to retailers?

According to Taginfo there are 7 uses of wholesale=yes (mentioned in an abandoned wiki proposal). http://taginfo.openstreetmap.de/keys/wholesale#values

In terms of landuse tags I would be tempted to use commercial rather than retail.

According to Taginfo there are 58 uses of shop=wholesale. The disadvantage with this is obviously that the information "supermarket" is lost.

So I would suggest combining the two.

shop=wholesale

wholesale=supermarket
