how do i get openstreet map on my Garmin etrex 30

If you just want a simple download, I'd start with this site, although there are lots of others featuring maps of different styles, and you can also create your own if you want.

If you get any problems, have a read of the Garmin questions here - the chances are that someone will already have a solution to it.
