I added some footpathes in an area checked with a GPS-trace.

In potlace I see them all perfectly in every enlargement.

In the main-map those ways are only seen in certain enlargements (500ft and smaller, and (partially, not all ways) at 1000ft)

now it is working. Seems necessary to wait up to 24h. Is no problem, but you need to know.

Because each zoom level is rendered individually. Some are rendered more often, some less often. Some are pre-rendered and some get rendered on-demand. And of course your local browser cache also matters, you should try to clear it. For a more detailed answer see the two following questions:

what is irretating for me, that a path is shown on an irregular basis of zoom-levels (very enlarged and very zoomed, but not in between. And yes, I cleared the local cache.

That might be irritating of course but it is not unusual.
