How do I tag a boardwalk on pilings (pier) having shops built on it

0

My town has a number of these and I want to tag them so it's obvious that they are not normal shops but ones built on a platform on pilings above the water.

Man_made=pier with area=yes or area=pedestrian are possibilities. Any other suggestions or examples?

If you draw the pier as an area you shouldn't need area=yes. If you have sufficient information to do so I would tag the entire pier as one area and each shop on it as a separate one per shop (or perhaps a node POI per shop if you have an intermediate level of source information).

Yeah, that should work. Thanks.
