I recorded 21 points (quite close together, within 10m of each other) using GPSlogger on my android phone. uploaded the trace to osm. I can see all points within osm. But only 2 points in potlatch. Is this normal? can I make potlatch display all the points?

trace is here http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/paulnewall/traces/1425846

"Potlatch automatically simplifies tracks on import" (mentioned in the forum by Richard). This is what I have experienced many times (annoyingly) in the past with Potlatch2 (I guess Richard's post is about Potlatch 1). I see no option in Potlatch2 to turn it off. Annoying if you do high precision gps recordings (e.g. if you walk around a tree).

Workaround1: it seems (tested with two traces by me and your example 1425846.gpx) that gps traces are not simplified by Potlatch2's display engine if you open a trace locally from your computer (via Potlatch2 button "background" -> "vector file" -> "File open").

Workaround2: use another editor.
