How do I create a vector file of map without street names?

Hello! I am completely new to OpenStreet so please excuse what is probably a very basic question. I want to create files of maps with only the streets. I do not want the street names or any other text to appear on the maps. So basically it would be a wireframe of the streets. Is this even possible? I would settle for a raster file if a creating a vector file is not possible. Thank you so much.

In general: All your aims are possible with OSM data, because OSM data is raw data.

You can determine how that data is displayed, or how we say: rendered.

You can say what elements should be displayed and which not, and you can output OSM derived maps as bitmap graphic, or vector files like PDF, SVG or Adobe Illustrator or ...
