Hi

I am a total newbie. Today I dscovered a junction (side-road) where you can enter by bike or foot but not by car. This is not mapped in the map. How do I map that.

Thanks in advance

I guess it depends on what its primary purpose is

You could label it as highway=cycleway foot=yes (or alternatively) highway=footway bicycle=yes

Most probably you want to use motor_vehicle=no

On the map page click on documentation and in the search box type beginners guide. I would suggest using the potlatch2 when editing. There are some videos on editing again search for these as well. This link is about the roads that have restricted access http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:access
