Historic Hillfort

1

How to tag a double or even triple line of defensive embankments, upper and lower ones with a ditch in between ? The tags situation, place dont fit. And yes its historical (2000 BC) and visible as embankments. The fortress lies on top of a steep and large hill with a 40 m high slope. Hendrik

By the end of 2019, https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:fortification_type%3Dhill_fort suggests:

  • historic=archaeological_site
  • site_type=fortification
  • fortification_type=hill_fort

I recieved from GB a solution for this one, it can be found here a similar one younger still, https://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=52.78915&lon=6.22579&zoom=17&layers=M By adding 2 separate man_made embankments drawn in the opposite direction its getting a bit more of a body.
