Hello,

I just changed water bodies that are not really because they are saline and water is present only in the larger basins. For smaller ponds water is rarely visible because the salt is to be harvested.

Mapnik on the saline does not appear: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=43.04071&lon=2.99232&zoom=15&layers=M

There's a good summary of the general "why does X not show up on the map" question here.

Hi it seems you did it, there areas without water on the map tagged as salt_pond. If you change something give the system some time to ad the new ways or nodes or whatever you added. Well done

I think the real problem is not cached tiles/not-yet-rendered tiles, but that mapnik doesn't render landuse=salt_pond.
