There was an error in Eden NC concerning a street name. OSM had it listed at Phillips St. I used Potlatch2 to correct it to Phillip St. The downloads to my Garmin occasionally use the correct name and sometimes use the incorrect name even after my edit.

Where did you download your garmin map? There are dozens of different garmin maps based on OSM data available.

Maybe there are cached versions of the dataset on your device?

Hi gator, If the correct name is Philip St then you should take a look at this point http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=36.52704&lon=-79.6933&zoom=15&layers=M. It looks like the problem of the incorrect name is solved ! Greetz Hendrik Ps but if someone else system takes a vieuw or link of the map, its possible that youre looking or working with older material. It depends on the update time or frequenty of the service. Have a good trip
