We want to collect lots of POIs in the field where no mobile network is available.

Is there any Android software which can help with this comfortably?

It should be possible to store an offline map, and collect the POIs offline and upload them later.

Have a look at OSMTracker if it fits your needs.

... or have a look about http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OsmAnd ... it has offline vector maps and can store POIs or OSM elements in a limited manner.

All android apps dealing with OSM should be collected in the OSM wiki at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Android

The bookmark function doesn't look exactly like I could add full-detail OSM POIs with all the tags...
