That's a 2.6 GB download, so it wouldn't surprise me if something went wrong somewhere. If your zip file isn't 2.6 GB, something definitely went wrong. If your file is exactly 2 GB in size, you may need to change whatever you're using to download / unzip it, as that might suggest that it can't handle files > 2Gb. If you don't need the whole of the US, I might be tempted to try a smaller download from a different site - perhaps only including the states that you're likely to be travelling in. answered 08 Feb '13, 17:02 SomeoneElse ♦ 2

hello, i try to download from this page www.osmmaps.com the maps of US, but when i unzip the archive the mensage of the winzip was "Either multipart or corrupt ZIP archive" . i change the program to unzip de file and i solve de problem. The problem wasn´t de file, it was de program to unzip, i hope you understand my english and how i solve the problem.

There are many different maps for many different devices available in many different formats.
What site did you download a map from?
What do you want to do with the map when you've downloaded it? Do you want to install it on, say, a Garmin satnav, and Android phone, or something else?
What error did you actually get?
