I made some updates to a section of map about a week ago. I noticed something was not quite right with one of the zoom levels. The incorrect map: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=43.60998&lon=-116.44394&zoom=16&layers=M All other zoom levels look good. Why is that? asked 06 Feb '13, 16:11 rrpoulin |
The zoom levels aren't all updated at the same time, I've had updates only partially propagate at a specific zoom. I think the type of change may also play a role in how long it takes for updates to happen. I don't really know the reasons but is probably related to limited resources to process changes. answered 06 Feb '13, 16:18 he_the_great |
I can't see any obvious difference between zoom levels, so I'd expect that it's exactly the same reason as last time. answered 06 Feb '13, 16:34 SomeoneElse ♦ 1
Thanks but I do see significant differences between http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=43.60998&lon=-116.44394&zoom=16&layers=M and http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=43.60998&lon=-116.44394&zoom=15&layers=M and http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=43.60998&lon=-116.44394&zoom=17&layers=M Not the same issue as last time, I think there is one layer that takes longer than others to update. I put these edits in almost a week ago.

@rrpoulin can you name the differences? Did you try to clear your browser cache? I don't see anything obvious.

Can not see differences either, looks like a browser cache/proxy issue to me
