Has anyone ever used a tag for so called peat field ? Used for hockey in Europe, but a growing number of soccer fields are build the same way with plastic grass on a peat layer. I didn’t find a trace in the WIKI. If it has not been used earlier I thought of sport – hockey or soccer, field – grass or fabric, if fabric, cover – water or sand. How to proceed, just use it ?

Start with leisure=pitch. Then add the sport. Lastly tag the surface. Look at the first value in the surface table, it's the one you are looking for.

Thanks, I didnt use artificial as a search key. But theres no mention of the use of water or sand to cover or preserve the artificial field. Any idea ? Greetz
