I got a report from a wiki-user with this error:

"Login error - Your IP address is listed
as an open proxy in the DNSBL used by
OpenStreetMap Wiki. You cannot create
an account (84.114.59.XX)"

Can anybody please tell me /which/ DNSBL is/are used?

Would be nice to mention this in the error message...

tnx /al

Thank you! Have you maybe considered https://www.projecthoneypot.org/ ? It's rather up to date for comment spam sources.

Any solution besides the difficult process of getting an ip removed from both of those lists?

Just to have the updated list (which I was trying to locate):

https://github.com/openstreetmap/chef/blob/master/cookbooks/mediawiki/templates/default/LocalSettings.php.erb#L217

Right now it's proxies.dnsbl.sorbs.net, opm.tornevall.org, xbl.spamhaus.org and dnsbl-3.uceprotect.net

I got the same. Blocked as of today. The IP address they give is the dynmic address given by my provider.

They suggest to give all of the information on the blocked ip-address in queries. But: where can I query? who is responsible for this?
