I need information about the airports in the Guápiles Region (Limón, Costa Rica), all the Atlantic Coast. Searching for Guápiles airport returns one node in the city of Guápiles. The reason you did not see it is that the main map on openstreetmap.org can't possibly show everything on every zoom layer (no room to render every label and the map would be to cluttered). answered 31 Dec '12, 17:13 RM87 1 The rendering for airports mapped as nodes seems a bit weird. It seems they are shown at lower zoom levels, but then disappear as you zoom in. Which means Guápiles Airport is only visible at zoom 10 and 12.
