Saludos
Ricardo Huchim Pech

First of all a short translation, for those who do not understand Spanish that well.

I´m from Mérida, Mexico, studying mathematics at the university. I´m now doing social work in a non-profit organisation. This dedicates itself to divert information about Sustainable Development to people with few means. We want to set-up a Geopositional project. How can I contact the organisation to set this up. How can I get to know more about you and do you have a branch in Mexico? Regards, Ricardo Huchim Pech

TRANSLATION

If you are talking about OSM (OpenStreetMap) it is not an organisation with branches all over the world. All is done here in Internet. There are however, tens of thousands of contributors that enter, update and whatmore, with the data of their GPS, local knowledge or profound knowledge (like one guy here in Ireland, who updates new road names/numbers almost the moment they are made public by the Government). Most probably there also are perople in your area that do this. If you have a OSM-login, goto www.openstreetmap.org and click on your username, you will see a list of people closest to you. You can see if they actively do things here (or not) and youcan contact them through a Private Message (PM). I hope to have been able to help you,
