I'm wondering how I can find an icon for a public swimming pool - as building and as open air. Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm new on OpenStreetMap.

Regards, Klaus

You should probably edit your question to indicate why you are looking for an icon. Are you setting up your own renderer?

Various icon sets can be found on the "Map Icons" wiki page.

osmarender has a swimming pool icon.

(See on the map) That's probably this SVG source file

You may also check out NounProject's icons, they're sure to have a swimming pool among others: http://www.thenounproject.com/

Nice. Mostly public domain too. I've linked that site from the map icons page
