Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

I'm using the train (mostly in Germany and neighboring countries) quite often. I'd like to draw a map of the exact rail tracks I have been using. The application I'm using requires GPX for import.

What is the easiest way to get a specific rail track (e.g., Berlin to Munich via X, Y, Z) in GPX format?

Thanks for any hint.

If you have an Android, I would recommend the free Oruxmaps (for the tracking). I don't know if it´s also available for iPhone. It can be configured for a high update rate (under GPS settings), for when you use the ICE, and is very accurate.
